Not every floor needs the full treatment. Damaged boards can be cut out and replaced, pet-stained sections repaired, and squeaks and gaps addressed — then blended so the repair disappears into the rest of the floor.
The hard part of a repair isn’t swapping the board — it’s making the fix invisible. That means matching the species and grain, weaving new boards into the old pattern, and finishing so the sheen and color read as one floor.
