Jared runs the full sequence — coarse cuts to level the floor and remove old finish, then finer and finer passes until the wood is uniformly smooth, with edges and corners hand-detailed to match the field.
Prep matters too: floors coming out from under old carpet are usually peppered with staples and tack-strip nails, and every one has to come out before the machine touches wood. It’s tedious, labor-heavy work, and it’s part of why floor condition affects the price.
